I investigated electric bicycles for some time prior to I chosen that one. After some delivery delays, it arrived a couple days back. It's available in a huge container, which weighs in at 76K--167 pounds. Once within, it's bolted to some pretty filthy metal crate, so expect you'll get stinky and dirty! The front axle bolt is threaded through the crate, it requires some time to persistence to operate that out. The directions are near to useless, but it's pretty obvious where most of the stuff should really go. Just be individual! And don't be afraid of getting filthy.
I'm 5', about 110, and could battle it around, so I would believe most people shouldn't have a problem. I put it together, charged it up, switched it on. I forgot that electric bicycles don't create a starting sound, and I strike the throttle and just about freshly mowed down my living area table. So watch out for the quiet procedure! ) The horn on the other hand is fairly loud and severe--everyone's going to know you're coming. The lighting is fantastic, lights are large and vibrant, large braking system lights, great front and back turning signals. Its high beams as well.
I haven't had a chance to really test it on distances, I've been becoming accustomed to it-- does take away fairly quick, so practice someplace in which you won't encounter things--like NOT the living area! )
I will publish much more when I find out more. So far, 100Percent excellent, neighbors are jealous, company-workers want one.

Be aware: the speedometer show is in kms per hour. 32.2 KPHEquals20 MPH. So, if you're trying to comply with federal regualtions, that's exactly where it should be.
UPDATE: Fourteen days later on I'm nevertheless waiting around on my warranty replacement charger from XTreme Scooters. Used to do buy another Atworld wide web.monsterscooterparts.org. They've got low prices and great service. Their charger is much better and quieter too.
I've run the bicycle through pouring Houston rainfall and been good. I weigh close to 115 lbs and also the bicycle will get up to and including nice constant 42KMH which means just over 26 MPH. I will run it there for fifteen-seventeen kilometers. After it hits the yellow-colored bar, it drops down fairly quickly. I go ahead and take battery out of the bicycle and cost it this way, since I live in an upper level condominium which bicycle is way too heavy to trolley in the steps. Also, it's impossible this is 'foldable' or whatever it states on this website. It's heavy and bulky, you'd need a few individuals and a vehicle to get it close to.
Overall this is a great product, I'm having a ton of fun and still obtaining words of flattery and questions everywhere I go. I usually possess a large smile caught on my encounter when I'm using. )

The XB-502 replaced it's predecessor the XB-500 Electric Bike, only this
time they added a pedal system that classifies the XB-502 as an Electric
Bicycle, so the XB-502 Electric Bike can be ridden anywhere that a regular
bicycle can ride, legally, of course. The XB-502 is the best electric bike
within the smaller E-bike category. The XB-502 only weighs in at 176 lbs,
which is reasonably light compared to most other Electric Bikes in this
power/feature range.
